My strength has improved a ton especially form. Stamina has improved more than ever. I haven’t had this much stamina since I was 17. My mental health I have been struggling in that area for many years and the whole COVID thing wasn’t helping. CrossFit is definitely helping I’ve always had a passion fitness/gymnastics I had to put that all on hold once my epilepsy got bad 14 seizures a day I had to get brain surgery I weighed 105lbs it took a couple years just to get to 125lbs which is still severely under weight but not so anorexic.
Once I started getting back into motion I made it to 142 that what I started with at the gym. I am now 167lbs In the 5 months I’ve been a member of CrossFit Kitchener and thats all muscle no fat ok maybe a little bit of fat. This is the first time in my life I have been at a healthy weight and actually feel good my stress level is down about 80%.
CrossFit the jack of all fitness it’s gymnastics/cardio/powerlifting all in one it’s got everything you need to become an elite athlete I was just a little sceptical about the kipping and butterfly pull ups but once you do them you realize your not going to dislocate shoulders.
