We are really happy to announce that Hunter will be joining out CFK team! Hunter started at CFK over 3 years ago as a co-op student from Conestoga College and he has become an accomplished CF athlete with lots of experience and knowledge to share. He recently obtained his CrossFit L-1 certification.
A little bit about Hunter….
“I’ve always been a very active person throughout my life. From AAA hockey and Junior Hockey to playing on a competitive golf tour, and everything else. You name and I’ve probably played it.
My passion for sports and being active lead me to Crossfit, where I Started at CFK three years ago. I use Crossfit to help train for other sports and have noticed a significant growth in my fitness over the past few years and have also remained relatively injury free.
I love that Crossfit brings out the best in people, to push harder, not take the easy way out, and to create the best version of yourself all while being surrounded by a great community of like-minded individuals.

50-40-30-20-10 equals 150. The goal is to grunt through this one, moving consistently. Consider scaling reps if you need it! Don’t worry, tomorrow is short and heavy!
Scaling for Intensity
- Russian KB Swings → Reduce Weight → KB Deadlift
- Burpee → Bodybuilder
- Sit Up → Anchored Sit Up → Banded Sit up
