Good Luck Sammi! We’ll miss you.
Oh CrossFit Kitchener –
Before this email gets too mushy, I’ll give ya’ll a little back story. I am a west coast girl born and raised, California then The Pacific Northwest (Washington State). In 2010 I made the move to Georgia, this is where I found CrossFit and also the courage to move wherever I wanted! When I made the decision to come to Canada, it felt right and I knew it was meant to be.
Being a part of a CrossFit community makes the transition to a new city so much easier, you have instant friends with the same interest. It’s truly amazing!
Well, 3 years later … My time here in Canada is coming to an end. By the end of the month, I will be heading back to the great United States of America.
At no fault of my own, or that of the man I moved here with, this is our best choice. The crazy life of trying to live internationally has taken it’s tole.
Washington State is home, my family is there and it’s time I go back.
Through this decision making process one of my first thoughts was ‘How am I going to tell everyone at CrossFit Kitchener?’ – an email felt most suitable, gets my story across, no tears and everyone gets to know.
I want to thank all of you for being so welcoming, friendly and putting up with me over these years. There is no other like CrossFit Kitchener, you will all be missed and a tough crowd to beat.
I will still be around CFK until about the end of the month and then my new journey will begin.
