Run group- Thursday evenings at 6pm and Sunday’s at 8:30 am starting January 3rd.
Re-fridee-eighterer 8k and 8 mile race on February 21 st. We have 21 people representing CF Kitchener in the corporate division. Best of luck everyone! 3-2-1 GO!!
Paleo Challenge- This 7 week challenge will start on January 25th. There will be an info session on January 9th at 12pm for those interested.
CrossFit Sectionals- we have 20 committed crossfitter’s representing CF Kitchener at the CF sectionals on March 20th-21st. This 2 day event will bring together CrossFitters from all over Ontario. The top 15 women and 15 men will move on to the regional championships in Calgary in May.
One of our members, Mandy Bujold won her weight division at the National boxing championships. One big step closer to the olympics Mandy!

Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.
