We had another great turnout for our 2nd 5k time trial on Sunday. Everyone put in a awesome effort and many p.b.’s were made. Tracey and Vicky both p.b’d by over 3 minutes. After the run , everyone indulged in an amazing spread of Paleothic food. It was much better than the typical post race menu of dry bagels, bananas and apples. Holy Crap! You guys are flying! Lars you’ll be sub 20 minutes by the summer!!
I miss all you supreme athletes, keep up the good work. I’m getting some training in at 5000+ feet elevation so hopefully my met cons will improve at sea level! I’ll keep following you all y’all on this site, maybe we can meet up Calgary, I’m sure there is going to be a big contingent from CFK that qualify!!
Things are getting really busy here, I just signed a 6 month consulting contract and will be based out of Gardnerville, Nevada (near Reno). I’m planning to get back to Kitchener for a week in early April. I am so bummed out I can’t make it to the sectionals to cheer everyone on.
