Just a reminder that our 100 day Burpee Challenge starts today so for those of you who’ve signed up, good luck! There’s still time to sign up today. As Ken would say…..YEEEAH BURPEES!!
 
Our Oktoberfest run group starts tonight at 6pm. It will continue every Tuesday and Thursday until the race. We will be focusing on interval/tempo workouts. Also, for those of you who are doing the race, there’s entry forms here at the gym.

A BIG congratulations goes out to Sarah and Tiff who finished the ENDURrun yesterday. They covered a total of 160 km in 8 days, finishing the event with a marathon! You guys ROCK!!!

Good luck Victor, Lauren and Steve on your future endeavours. It has been amazing watching all three of you progress over the last 2 months. In June it was all Steve and Victor could do was to eek out one single dead hang pull-up and now they can do 100 kipping pull-ups in a WOD! Lauren went from never doing a deadlift to deadlifting 235lbs! It just shows what you can accomplish through hard work and dedication. We’ll see you back here in January!!

Coach and Sage Burgener. In the landing position of the split jerk the front knee is above or slightly behind the ankle; the hands, crown of the head, spine, and hips are in perfect alignment; and the back heel is up, even turned out slightly, with a slight bend in the back knee.
